A Strong In Spirit Day Is Dawning Upon You...
Freed To Live
It's what Jesus said in
Luke 4:18...
“He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives...to set free those who
are oppressed.”
What
–
Christians Captive & Oppressed?!
To some those words might seem like heresy, but
not to God. Consider Colossians 2:8,
“See to it that no one takes
you captive through hollow or
deceptive philosophy.”
Or Acts 8:23 where Peter says about Simon, “I see you are full of bitterness
and captive to sin.” Christians can be as captive, miserable,
defeated and destroyed as anybody else (Isaiah 42:22, Romans 7:15-19,
Galatians 5:1, 2 Timothy 2:26).
So, what strongholds of sin are you captive to?
Unworthiness, anger, condemnation, gossip, judging, pride, lying, various
fears, rebellion, drugs, alcohol, negativity, adultery? The list is endless.
But no matter what it is, it's likely causing you to live in a substandard
spiritual state of constant defeat and condemnation. That is not God's will
for your life!!
So, How Does All This Happen?
The first part of Transformation Ministry is
Jesus' fulfilling His ministry to
“heal the broken-hearted.”
The second part of Transformation Ministry
deals with
“setting the captives free”
from captivity to strongholds of sin, by enforcing Jesus' defeat of Satan in
our lives. It's the job of the enemy and his henchmen to get us captive to
some sin or another (Hebrews 12:1) –
likely one that is already in your generational line (Exodus 34:7). After
all, we not only live with a fallen human nature that's predisposed to sin,
we also have an enemy whom Jesus described as aggressively working to
“steal, kill and destroy”
us (John 10:10) through captivity to sin. Peter was equally serious about
this reality (having experienced Satan himself in Matthew 16:23), declaring
that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to chew up
and spit out/devour (1 Peter 5:8). Paul experienced Satan's attacks so
frequently that he wrote,
“I don't want Satan to outwit us. After
all, we are not ignorant about his scheming,”
(1 Corinthians 2:11).
How about you? Are you knowledgeable
–
or are you ignorant and in denial about what Satan is doing in your life to
keep you down, disobedient, in despair, depressed, defeated –
and captive? Freedom awaits, but only Jesus can deliver it –and us –
from the evil one (Matthew 6:13).
Why Did Jesus Pray, Deliver Us From Evil?
Surprisingly,
deliverance from demonic oppression was likely Jesus' #1 ministry. It was
not only a regular occurrence for Him, it was also a part of both His
healings (Luke 7:21), and His miracles (Mark 9:39). Why was it so important
to Him? Because He came to earth to destroy the works of the devil (1 John
3:8)
–
including both broken-heartedness and captivities to sin.
Have you ever thought that some of the thoughts in your mind, your captivity
to particular sins and urges, and the reactions of your heart, may not
really be you? It is entirely possible! Jesus did deliverance and trained His
disciples how to do it throughout the gospels and the Book of Acts. Paul
underlines this by saying we wrestle with spiritual beings instead of
people.

How Can I Help Others Get Healed & Free?
There are a couple of
key things you can do. First, share with them your testimony of what God did
in your life through Transformation Ministry. Second, let others speak of
their experience through these powerful
TM Testimonies of getting free. Third, send them to this website so they
can read for themselves about getting Healed In Heart and Freed To Live.
But perhaps most importantly, if you would like
to add significantly to your knowledge and understanding of how this works,
or learn how to minister it to others more effectively, I encourage you to
consider scheduling a Transformation Ministry Conference. This is a unique,
comprehensive and practical training session that encompasses about 20+
hours of teaching that will not only make it possible for you to receive
greater healing for yourself, it will also enable you to minister it far
more effectively to others. For a fuller description, see the
TM Conference
Outline. (A 30 page Conference Handout is included for each
participant).
The entire Conference does not have to be presented
at one time (20+ hours of teaching equals about 4-5 days of
presentations)
–
so any portion of it can be presented according to what you most need or
desire. The cost of the entire Transformation Ministry Conference is $60 per
person or $80 per family. If you would rather have Pastor Bruce present
a shorter portion of this teaching focused on your specific needs rather
than in its entirety, then schedules and costs can be adjusted accordingly.
This is the best way
to spread the healing and freedom to many, many others in the Kingdom of God!
